Pre-K Program at the Dumont Tri-County YMCA Child Care Center
The Dumont Tri-County YMCA Preschool/Childcare Center is a full service facility licensed through the Department of Health and Human Resources and the State of West Virginia. We are a universal preschool in collaboration with Putnam County Schools (PCS). We use PCS adoptive Creative Curriculum used in all Pre-K and Kindergarten sites. It is a comprehensive, researched based curriculum that features exploration and discovery as a way of learning, enabling children to develop confidence, creativity, and lifelong critical thinking skills.
Pre-K Classes
Monday- Thursday (Free Program in collaboration with Putnam County Board of Education) as follows:
7:30am - 1:45pm
8:00am – 2:15pm
After Care
Monday - Thursday until 6:00pm
Members: $15/day Non-Members: $30/day
Friday Child Care
7:00am - 6:00pm
Members: $30/day Non-Members: $50/day
$40 registration fee due at enrollment. Bank draft occurs on the 1st and 15th of each month. Draft amounts will vary based on number of days facility is operating according to the Putnam County School calendar.
Pre-K Prep Class
(3 & 4-Year-Olds)
Our Pre-K Prep Class is a classroom for 3 and 4-year-olds that will be entering Pre-K the following school year. Our goal is to provide a safe and nurturing environment for social/emotional, physical, cognitive, and language development. A morning snack, lunch, and afternoon snack are provided for all children and follow USDA nutritional guidelines. Please provide the center with any special dietary instructions at time of enrollment. All students must provide a doctor’s note if there are any special dietary needs, and this note must be kept on file. This is a year round class with open registration any time during the year until the enrollment limit has been met.
Please note that children must be potty trained, no pull-ups.

Registration Fee: $40
Full Week: Members: $175 Non-Members: $195
There will be a 10% discount for siblings. Must be Dumont Tri-County YMCA members for discount to apply.
