Kiddie Summer Camp

This Kiddie Summer Camp is for ages 4-5. It will be held at the Tri-County YMCA Pre-School. Each child will be provided with a nutritional lunch and two healthy snacks. The kiddie camp offers the same activities and adventures as at Camp High –Tor but in more of a preschool environment. To inquire about our services, call 304.757.5977.

Kiddie Summer Camp participants are NOT eligible for Sports Camps or Field Trips.

The Tri-County YMCA Pre-School accepts payment only by bank draft or a monthly charge to your credit/debit card for all child care fees. The fees for the full week program will come out on a semi-monthly basis $243.80 on the 1st and $243.80 on the 15th.

The payment can be set up to be drawn from a credit/debit card or checking account at the front desk of our main facility. This bank draft is perpetual and members must fill out a cancellation form at the YMCA in order to cancel enrollment. A 30 day written notice is required for bank draft or credit/debit card cancellation. Child care fees are non-refundable and non-transferable. Any returns will be charged a $10.00 service fee.

Adventure Camp

At Camp High-Tor Adventure Camp, children age 5 through the completion of 5th grade will participate in activities that are designed to help them develop confidence and foster independence. They will experience age-appropriate games, swimming, crafts, hiking, and sports. These activities led by enthusiastic and well-trained staff, will give your child the experience of a lifetime!


Leaders in Training
Leaders in Training Camp is designed for children who have completed 6th grade through 8th grade. This NEW character development based program will allow your child to have the full “camper” experience while building their character through specialized curriculum. Your child will learn how to implement the YMCA core values of caring, honesty, respect, and responsibility while having a blast at Camp High-Tor!


Counselors in Training
Our Counselors in Training Camp is offered to students who have completed 9th grade through age 17 who want to enjoy camp in a new way. This NEW leadership development program will allow your child to learn what it takes to be a Camp High-Tor counselor. They will be challenged with curriculum that will help them become young men and women who model the YMCA core values. Applicants to this program will only be accepted upon completion of an interview. Please contact Angel Bannister or Jamie Berry at 304.757.0016 for additional information and registration fees.

Sports Camps
Sports Camps are open to ages 5-17 and run from 9:00am-12:00pm. Your child can stay at camp all day for only an additional $45 for Members and $50 for Non-Members!! Financial Assistance & Link participants must pay $42.50 for sports camps.


Field Trips
Field trips are offered each week at Camp High-Tor. Please be aware that there are age restrictions for some of the field trips.
Fees for the trips must be paid by the Wednesday before the trip. No payments will be accepted the morning of the trip. Field trip payments are non-refundable and non-transferable. Some trips may require additional money for food while others may not. Each field trip is limited to 75 campers.


Overnight Camps
During Overnighters, campers swim, roast marshmallows by the campfire, play flashlight tag, and much more! A late night pizza party, cookout, and breakfast are included so grab your sleeping bag and join us!

All overnighter camps begin at 8:00 p.m. and children must be picked up by 9 a.m. on Saturday.
